“The Mixtress” screening in Seattle!

September 26th, 2008 · No Comments

NW Film ForumEvery year, the NW Film Forum, a Seattle-based non-profit center for film arts, holds a premiere showcase of Northwest filmmaking called Local Sightings. The annual festival presents films of all types, including feature narratives, shorts, and documentaries. For this year’s festival, “The Mixtress,” a wideshot studios production, has been chosen to screen with other films representing Portland filmmaking as part of the Rose City Review in the Odds and Ends portion of the festival.

We are very honored to be part of this festival. We made “The Mixtress” for the International Documentary Challenge earlier this year and won the Best Soundtrack Award for it. It marks the second film that wideshot studios has made since relocating to Portland a year ago. If you are in the Seattle area and are able to attend, we would love to see you there. The films that we will be screening alongside are exceptional examples of the quality filmmaking that is coming out of this part of the country.Best Soundtrack Award
